Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PalmCore Finance ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.

2. Service Description

PalmCore Finance provides digital financial services including money transfers, savings goals with interest, micro-loans, bill payments (airtime, data, electricity, TV), and account management. The Service is provided as a financial technology platform and is not a bank. Funds are held through our licensed payment partners.

3. Account Registration & KYC

• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You must complete identity verification (KYC) before accessing certain features such as transfers and loans.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials, PIN, and biometric data secure.
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts.

4. Transfers & Payments

• You are responsible for verifying recipient account details before confirming a transfer. PalmCore Finance is not liable for funds sent to a wrong recipient due to user error.
• Transfers are subject to available balance, daily limits, and fraud-screening checks.
• Transaction fees, where applicable, will be disclosed before confirmation.
• Disputed transactions must be reported within 24 hours via the in-app Support page.

5. Savings

Savings goals earn interest at the stated annual rate. Interest is calculated daily and credited to your goal balance. Early withdrawal from locked savings may result in forfeiture of accrued interest, as disclosed per goal.

6. Loans

• Loan approval is subject to eligibility assessment and is not guaranteed.
• Loans carry the disclosed interest rate and must be repaid within the agreed term.
• Late payments may incur additional charges and affect your eligibility for future loans.
• You authorize PalmCore Finance to deduct repayments from your account balance on due dates.

7. Prohibited Activities

• Using the Service for money laundering, terrorism financing, or any illegal activity.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, hack, or disrupt the app or its systems.
• Sharing your account or credentials with others.
• Using bots or automated tools to access the Service.
• Providing false or misleading information.

8. Fraud & Security

We employ fraud detection systems that may flag, delay, or decline suspicious transactions. We may suspend or close your account if we detect fraudulent activity or violations of these Terms. You must report unauthorized access to your account immediately.

9. Fees

PalmCore Finance may charge fees for certain services. All fees are disclosed before you complete a transaction. We reserve the right to update our fee schedule with prior notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PalmCore Finance shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for losses arising from circumstances beyond our control including network failures, payment partner errors, or regulatory actions. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the preceding 3 months.

11. Account Closure

You may close your account at any time with zero balance. We may close or suspend your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if your account remains inactive for an extended period.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Lagos, Nigeria, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or via email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
